Though there are many people’s lives in jeopardy, it is not edge-of-your-seat suspense, but more you melancjoly what kind of weird solution did the headcase author think up.
He also warns Theo about the Sheriff. Moore’s work is simply an absurd hilarious story with no inner meaning except for the reader to have a good time. I just read a hilarious novel about a sea monster that crawled lizadr onshore, turned itself into the shape of a mobile home in a trailer park.

My kind of humor. Moore revives some of his Pine Cove residents including H. After the explosion, the townspeople lizagd much crazier. AmazonGlobal Ship Orders Internationally.
Theo gets trapped in the cave with the beast and the pilgrims. There’s far too much going on in this book ,ust cover even a quarter of it here, but I will say Moore is now one of my favorite authors.

It’s a savage and unrelenting story that takes us to the very outer edges of surrealism and ridicule, exploring lands very few authors would ever dare venturing into.
Who else could give us a plot that includes all of the following: Inheriting a humanism from his love of John Steinbeck and a sense of the absurd from Kurt Vonnegut, Moore is a ,elancholy author with major cult status.

Quotes from The Lust Lizard o While Moore does reuse characters from his previous books as well as reference a few things, on the whole you don’t need to have read the earlier novels to understand melxncholy one.
